A guided immersion from Madrid

Based in Madrid, I designed the Destino Circles as an online Spanish learning experience where Spanish becomes a gateway to the cultures, societies and people who speak it.

Each session starts with a topic, one or more authentic resources and questions to help you understand, reflect and exchange ideas.

No lectures: you are here to speak, share perspectives and make progress through real conversation.

A project that reflects who I am: shaped by my personal journey, my experience as a teacher and researcher, and a deep belief that we can still talk, exchange ideas and understand one another, even when we don't see things the same way.

Each session is built around a topic, authentic resources and questions that give you something to understand, reflect on and discuss in Spanish.

How often do the Circles meet?

Destino Circles meet once a week for 1.5 hours.

What topics do you explore?

History, society, current affairs, arts, sports, memory, popular culture… The topics are chosen to spark conversation and take you beyond everyday discussions.

All topics are connected to Spain or Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.

Is this just a Spanish conversation class?

No. Destino Circles are Spanish classes centred around conversation, but discussions are supported by authentic resources, cultural topics and language tools to help you develop your ideas, add nuance and build arguments.
